Meetup Meets: NYC Dance Photography

[music] >>Its that time again.
I’m about to connect with Ashleigh from the NYC Dance Photography group. It might have something to do with dance. It might have something to do with photography. You’ll have to stay tuned
to find out. [indistinct talking] >>Ready? Go for it. [laughter] [indistinct talking] >>Yes, stunning. [indistinct talking] >>Yeah, let’s do it.
Let’s do a jump. We haven’t done a jump. >>Jump so high…
>>Beautiful! [clapping] >>>Want to do both of them together? [music] >>Ok, this one was a little interesting because I’m not a photographer
and I know nothing about dance. But Ashleigh made us all feel
extremely comfortable. She took the time to make sure
we got the shots we needed. She gave out incredible pointers
on how you can better learn and how you can better
utilize your camera. And the biggest thing I learned
through this experience was to just try it. And that’s what Meetup is all about. In twenty years Meetup has
done so much around just that going out, giving it a try, creating
communities, connecting with folks.

That’s what Meetup is all about and that’s exactly what I got
from this experience..
